Around the Clock Darts Rules: How to Play Around the Clock

The classic beginner's game and practice routine. Hit every number from 1 to 20 in order, and the first player to finish wins.

Players: 1 or more  ·  Equipment: a standard dartboard and three darts each

Objective

Hit each number from 1 to 20 in order. The first player to hit 20 wins.

Your turn

Throw three darts per turn. Hit your current number to move on to the next one.

One hit per turn moves you forward one number. Miss all three and you stay on the same number.

Variations

All segments: any hit counts.

Singles only, doubles only or trebles only make the game harder, and doubles-only is a great finishing drill.

Winning

The first player to hit all 20 numbers wins. If two players finish in the same round, the closest dart to the Bull decides it.
